Guidelines for Authors
of FNCE Academic Press
These Guidelines set out the rules for preparing and submitting academic monographs for publication by FNCE Academic Press. They supplement the Press’s Publishing Policy, Peer Review Rules, and Publication Ethics Rules.
Publications accepted for publication
The Press publishes peer-reviewed academic monographs, multi-author monographs, edited collections, source editions, and publications resulting from research projects. Acceptance is based solely on substantive criteria and a positive outcome of the peer-review process.

Requirements for monographs
Use of Artifical Intelligence tools
The author bears full responsibility for the publication’s content. Artificial intelligence tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors of a monograph. If AI tools were used in a way that had a significant impact on preparing the text (for example, language editing, translation, or analysis of materials), the author should inform the Press.
Publishing process
After a submission is received, the Press conducts a formal assessment and sends the monograph for academic peer review. The Press provides the author with the reviewers’ comments and, once they have been addressed, makes a decision on publication. The publication then undergoes editing, proofreading, and preparation for release.
Author responsibilities
Final provisions
These Guidelines apply to all authors submitting monographs for publication from the date they are approved by the Director of FNCE Academic Press. They are subject to periodic updates.
